 If you are tired of working 8 hours at a job day after day after day, there is an alternative; consider creating residual income. Residual income is an income that continues to be generated after the initial effort has been expended; it can also be called passive, re-occurring or recurring income. Let us compare the difference between residual income to commission work based on compensating in the form of fee, wage, or salary. I don't think there is an interest for the latter if there is some passive income.
Residual income is created when a single product tangible or intangible keeps generating revenue with little or no extra work on ones part. Reoccurring income is created when you sell a product or service one time, and individuals and/or businesses continue to pay for it over and over again.
What motives people to start there own business is the promise that they can build a passive reoccurring income. Opportunities for generating passive residual income are greatly enhanced now with the convenience of the Internet.
