 Knowing your product and market enough makes crafting an effective title that much easier. All you have to do is ramble off its greatest attribute or characteristic, in addition to briefly describing what it is. Think in terms of what would make your product more appealing or desirable to those who'd be interested.
If it's new, say so right up front, since most people would prefer new over used when both are affordable options. New or used, make it clear to your audience. Is it an antique or collectible? Perhaps it's a vintage item, or one that's truly rare. Again, these single words speak volumes about your item when used appropriately, so it makes sense to make room for them in your titles.
Has the car you plan to list been strictly lady-driven, creating the perception among some that it's been used sparingly and without being pushed to the limit? If so, state it. Perhaps that Body Shop gift set sitting on the closet shelf was never actually opened and is therefore in like-new condition.

 If you've just received a full pallet load of Olympus digital cameras, then it's probably well worth your while to create a full-fledged sales letter that covers every conceivable benefit and feature and addresses any potential questions and concerns.
With such a large quantity of the same item, it makes sense to do this because once you've created a winning listing you can simply go ahead and repeat it a number of times until you unload your entire shipment.

 If you've never written a listing before, facing the limitation of 55 characters for your title can be a little stifling. But it helps to remember that every advertiser faces the same challenge you do.
We're all limited to the same number, single color, and the fact that it's a text-only field. The only real options are for a bold or featured listing. These ads run at the top of any list and are therefore subjected to more eyeballs in the process. It's a way of gaining something by paying to rank higher in order. It may be worth your consideration to test these two options and determine whether they helped improve your profits.
There is one free option that can help your headline stand out in any list, and it is simply this: the correct use of capitalization.

 To begin the eBay title creation process, take those words you've isolated as being important and see how many you can fit into the 55 character window. Play around with different combinations, always striving to make maximum impact as quickly as possible. If the title is your most valuable eBay real estate, the first word of that title is the most valuable of all.
Stuff your title field with as many relevant keywords as you can, but don't overdo it. No need for commas or dashes to separate words, a single space will do. But don't omit those spaces just to squeeze in more words as you'll only be shooting yourself in the foot. If it looks like mumbo-jumbo, it will be passed over instantly.

 Getting action from a prospective customer is the only thing that matters.
Give as many relevant details about your items as possible. It's impossible to provide too much factual information, so stack one important detail on top of another and prioritize these in order of importance to the buyer. Every prospect will get their fill to varying degrees. One sales point will sway one buyer to step forward and bid while another will be moved by something else entirely. You never know which key detail will result in that got-to-have-it feeling which can trigger a bidding frenzy and an avalanche of profits for you. Best thing to do is include all you can.
Your mission is to get prospects to:

2) Place a bid
